YVR Parking Terms and Conditions
The following are the Terms and Conditions upon which Vancouver Airport Authority (“Airport Authority”) accepts online parking reservations on our website (www.yvr.ca). These Terms and Conditions apply to your Booking, so it is important that you read and accept them before completing your Booking. By using the online Parking Reservation System, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the Terms and Conditions of use of www.yvr.ca.
These Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time. The version posted on our website will be the version in force at any given time.
By using the Airport Authority’s Online Parking Reservation System on the YVR website (yvr.ca), you and the Airport Authority agree as follows:
- Definitions. “Booking” means any online reservation made through our website for the parking of a vehicle at one of the Parking Facilities. “Booking Period” means the reservation period which you specify in your Booking, starting on the date and at the time your vehicle will be entering the Lot and ending on the date and at the time your vehicle will be exiting the Lot. “Lot” means one of our Parking Facilities. “Parking Facilities” means the public parking lots owned and operated by Vancouver Airport Authority, including the Parkade, Value Long Term lot (“VLT”), and jetSet YVR Parking lot (“jetSet”).
- General Parking Rules. All use of the Parking Facilities is subject to the posted Parking Rules at the applicable Lot.
- Parking Facilities. Bookings can be made for the Parkade, Value Long Term Lot (VLT), and jetSet.
- Maximum Stays. The maximum Booking Periods are:
- Parkade: 5 days
- VLT: 60 days
- jetSet: 60 days
BCAA discounts for VLT and jetSet are valid for Booking Periods of up to 30 days.
- Booking Requirements. Bookings can be made as early as 6 months or as late as 4 hours prior to the start of your Booking Period.
- Booking Period. If you arrive earlier or leave later than your specified Booking Period, you will be charged for applicable extra time at the posted rate for the Lot upon exiting. There are no refunds if you arrive later or leave earlier than your specified Booking Period. There are no in-and-out privileges; once you exit the Lot, your Booking Period is deemed to have ended.
- Changing or Canceling Your Booking. You can amend or cancel your Booking online up to 4 hours prior to the start of your Booking Period. Click on “Manage My Booking” on the Book Parking page on the YVR website (https://www.yvr.ca/en/passengers/parking-yvr).
- Refunds. Your refund is automatically generated if you cancel your Booking online more than 4 hours prior to the start of your Booking Period. Click on “Manage My Booking” on the Book Parking page on the YVR website (www.yvr.ca) to cancel. There are no refunds for cancellations within the 4 hours prior to the start of your Booking Period, nor are there refunds for unused Bookings, late arrivals, or early exits.
- One Parking Space Per Booking. You agree that you will only use 1 parking stall in the Lot reserved for your Booking. Vehicles exceeding the one stall limit are subject to fines and may be towed at the owner’s expense.
- No Designated Stalls. The Airport Authority will ensure parking is available within the Lot you chose for your Booking, however the stalls in the Lot are on a first come, first served basis.
- Accessible Stalls. All Parking Facilities are equipped with accessible stalls for use by accessible parking permit holders. To avoid fines, the accessible parking permit must be visibly displayed in the vehicle. Our online reservation system cannot accept Bookings for specific parking spots, including designated accessible stalls.
- Vehicle Limitations. You agree that your vehicle is within the height and size limitations of the Lot you have selected. You are not entitled to a refund if your vehicle exceeds the height or size limits. Height and size limitations for each Lot can be found at www.yvr.ca/parking.
- Entering and Exiting the Lot. The vehicle you registered in your Booking will be automatically recognized at the Lot’s entry and exit gates. Please bring your Booking confirmation email with QR Code to scan upon entry. Your Booking is valid only in the Lot you selected in your Booking.
- Your Responsibility for Check-In Time. You agree that it is your responsibility to ensure that you leave enough time to get from your vehicle to the applicable airline check-in counter within the time limits required by your airline. The Airport Authority is not responsible for any delays in entering the Lot, or for the time it takes to get from the Lot to the airport terminal, that result in a missed flight.
- Flight Cancellations. It is your responsibility to ensure you have up-to-date flight information prior to arriving at the Lot. You may cancel your Booking no later than 4 hours prior to your Booking start time. You will not be able to cancel your Booking once you have entered the Lot. If you must cancel your booking past the 4-hour mark due to your flight being cancelled, you must submit your refund request to [email protected] no later than 48 hours from your Booking start time with supporting documents containing your flight information. We reserve the right to refuse refund requests where insufficient documentation has been provided.
- Damage to Your Vehicle and Contents. You agree that the Airport Authority is not responsible for any loss, damage destruction or theft to your vehicle or its contents while parked at the Parking Facilities.
- Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations. All EV charging stations are subject to availability and not guaranteed. The Airport Authority is not responsible for any damage caused to your vehicle while parked at an EV charging station.
- Booking Payment. You will be charged at the time you make your Booking on our website. We accept VISA, MasterCard, or American Express. Any additional fees incurred will be charged at the exit gates at the posted rate of the Lot. Credit cards and debit cards are accepted at the exit (cash not accepted).
- Personal Information. To complete your Booking, you must provide the following:
- your name
- postal code
- dates of travel
- phone number
- email address
- credit card information
(collectively, “Personal Information”).

If you do not wish to provide Personal Information, you can discontinue the Booking process at any time before your Booking number is generated, and your Personal Information will not be retained.

Your Personal Information is used to complete the Booking, process payment, complete the parking transaction and, if necessary, to communicate with you. Your Personal Information will not be used for any other purpose. The Airport Authority uses a third-party service provider to process online parking reservations and credit card payments. Personal Information may be processed and stored in countries outside of Canada, including the United States.Your Personal Information will be handled in accordance with the Airport Authority’s Privacy Policy (https://www.yvr.ca/en/privacy) and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act. jetSet YVR Parking Terms and Conditions
Effective March 1,2023
- Introduction. Effective March 1, 2023, Vancouver Airport Authority (“Airport Authority”) will provide a valet component as part of jetSet YVR Parking. By using the jetSet valet service (the “Service”) at jetSet, you agree to the following Service Terms and Conditions, in addition to the YVR Parking Terms and Conditions which also apply to your use of jetSet.
The Airport Authority’s goal is to ensure that each traveler has a seamless experience when using the Service. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change at any time and are effective from the date of update on the YVR website (www.yvr.ca). Bookings made prior to the update will not be affected. - Definitions. “jetSet” means jetSet YVR Parking. “Booking Period” means the period of time that you have paid for the Service. The Booking Period begins once you have dropped off your vehicle and keys at the Site. The Booking Period ends on the date and time that you have paid for the Service. “Site” means the entire jetSet facility. The Site includes the designated vehicle drop-off and pick-up areas, vehicle storage areas, the customer service building, and the shuttle stop. “YVR” means Vancouver International Airport / Aéroport international de Vancouver and its agents, contractors and licensees involved in the operation of the Service.

Third-Party Operator. During the Booking Period, YVR will take all reasonable measures when providing the Service and may use the services of a third-party operator to provide some or all of the Service.
- Entering the Site. Upon entering the Site, YVR may record your vehicle’s license plates and take photos of your vehicle for the purposes of validating the condition of your vehicle at the commencement of the Booking Period. Once you drop-off your vehicle at the designated drop-off area at the Site, YVR may park your vehicle in any parking spot within the Site during the Booking Period as required to accommodate operational requirements.
- Leaving the Site. When picking up your vehicle at the end of the Booking Period, you will be required to produce your Service receipt. If you have misplaced or lost your Service receipt, YVR will require that you produce identification and any other evidence that YVR deems is satisfactory to show ownership or entitlement to receive your vehicle.
- Stays Beyond Booking Period. If your vehicle continues to be parked at the Site following the end of the Booking Period, YVR will charge you the then-current daily rate until you pick-up your vehicle. Your vehicle will not be released until the additional amounts have been paid.
Unless we receive written notification before the end of the Booking Period, YVR will consider vehicles remaining beyond their respective Booking Periods to be abandoned. If your vehicle continues to be parked at the Site for more than 60 days following the expiration of the Booking Period, YVR may, in its sole discretion, arrange to tow your vehicle from the Site at your expense. YVR will make reasonable efforts to contact you before removing your vehicle off-site. - Your Responsibilities. During the Rental Period, you represent and warrant that your vehicle:
- will be insured while parked at the Site;
- will have valid license plates;
- has insurance coverage that allows for your vehicle to be driven on public roads by YVR staff or YVR’s third-party provider associated with the Service; and
- is in a roadworthy condition.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate insurance for theft, collision, and third-party liability coverage while your vehicle is parked at the Site.
It is your responsibility to remove all contents from your vehicle prior to using the Service. YVR will not be responsible for any property left unattended in your vehicle, at the Site, or in in our courtesy shuttles.
- Your Responsibility for Check-In Time. When using the Service, you will be responsible to ensure that you have allocated enough time for your departing flight. YVR will not be responsible if you miss your flight due to unexpected delays or your failure to allow enough time. Further, YVR will not be responsible for delays to the Service as a result of circumstances beyond YVR’s control including traffic congestion, road accidents, flight delays, security alerts, and severe weather conditions.
- Failure to Report. If you discover any damage upon returning to your vehicle, you must report such damage to one of YVR’s staff members prior to leaving the Site at the end of the Booking Period. If you fail to identify any damage prior to leaving the Site, you will not be entitled to make a claim. YVR has the right to investigate all claims to determine whether or not any damage was a result of YVR’s actions.
- Refusal of Service. When leaving your vehicle at the Site, if YVR believes that your vehicle is either unsafe, not roadworthy, or does not have adequate insurance, YVR may, in its sole discretion, refuse to accept your vehicle for the Service and you will not be entitled to a refund.
- Outdoor Conditions. As your vehicle will be parked in an outdoor parking lot, YVR will not be responsible for any damage or loss during the Booking Period caused by inclement weather conditions including but not limited to snow, rain, hail, lightning, and sunlight.
- Damage to Your Vehicle and Contents. YVR will not be responsible for any loss, destruction, theft, or damage to your vehicle or any personal belongings or articles left in your vehicle during use of the Service. In addition, YVR will not be responsible for any consequential, incidental, or indirect losses or damages that you may incur as a result of using the Service. YVR will not be responsible for any mechanical or electrical failure of your vehicle while using the Service (including but not limited to batteries, key fobs, alarms, or immobilizers failing to work) or for any damage to wheels or tires.
- Additional Vehicle Features. Prior to providing YVR with the keys, you will advise YVR of any vehicle immobilizer, automatic security feature, or modification for a disability.
- Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Stations. All EV charging stations are subject to availability and not guaranteed. You must notify a staff member at the time of check-in if charging is requested during the Booking Period. YVR cannot guarantee a full charge on your vehicle at the time of pick-up and holds no responsibility over damages caused to your vehicle while charging.
- YVR Liabilities. You agree to indemnify YVR from any losses, liabilities, suits, judgments, claims, costs (including legal fees), damages or expenses arising out of or in connection with your vehicle and its accessories and contents, including personal injury to or death of any person or any injury damage to property except to the extent that such losses are directly caused by YVR’s negligence or wrongful act or omission.
- Fee Changes. YVR may change its fees related to the Service without notice. Updates will be made available on the YVR website at www.yvr.ca.
- Personal Information. As a result of your use of the Service, YVR may collect and use your personal information, which may include details about the car being parked, your name, travel details, and payment information. YVR will only use this personal information for the purposes of facilitating your booking and in accordance with applicable legislation. Plaza Premium Lounge Terms and Conditions
- Lounge Reservation. You can book a reservation for the Plaza Premium Lounge (the “Lounge”) at Vancouver International Airport / Aéroport international de Vancouver (“YVR”).
- Number of Reservations available. There are a total of ten (10) Lounge Reservations available per day at the Lounge. Reservations will not be accepted once the allotted number of reservations per day has been reached.
- Number of Reservations per booking. You can reserve entry to the Lounge for up to ten (10) people per booking per day.
- Use of Lounge. The use of the Lounge is subject to the Terms and Conditions of Plaza Premium Lounge B.C. Ltd. (“Plaza Premium”) which can be found on the Plaza Premium website (www.plaza-network.com/terms).
- Changes / Cancellations to your Reservation. Any changes or cancellations to your reservation are subject to the Terms and Conditions of Plaza Premium.
- How to Pay. You must pay for your Lounge Reservation with VISA, MasterCard or American Express.
- Payment Due. Your VISA, MasterCard or American Express (as applicable) will be charged when you make your reservation.
- Personal Information Collection. To complete your online reservation, you must provide the following personal information: your name, postal code, dates of travel, phone number, email address and credit card information (collectively “Personal Information”). If you do not wish to provide Personal Information, you can terminate the online reservation at any time before your reservation booking number is generated, in which case your Personal Information will not be retained.
- Use of Personal Information. Your Personal Information is used to complete the online reservation, process payment, complete the Lounge reservation transaction provide Plaza Premium with information about your reservation and, if necessary, to communicate with you. Your Personal Information will not be used for any other purpose by the Airport Authority. The Airport Authority uses a third party service provider to process online parking reservations and credit card payments. Personal Information by these third party providers may be processed and stored in countries outside of Canada, including the United States.
- Personal Information Protection. Your Personal Information will be handled in accordance with the Airport Authority’s privacy policy and the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act.
- Agreement to these Terms & Conditions. By using the Online Plaza Premium Reservation System, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the terms and conditions of use of www.yvr.ca.
- Customer Comments. Customer comments and complaints must be forwarded to Plaza Premium at 604-276-6688 (www.plaza-network.com).
