How early should I arrive to the airport for my flight?

YVR strongly encourages all travellers flying from YVR to arrive at the airport early—at least two hours ahead of domestic flights and at least three hours for U.S. and international.

My luggage is lost. Who do I contact?

For lost or delayed checked luggage, as well as items left onboard your aircraft, you must contact your airline directly. Airline contact information is available on our Airlines and Destinations page.

I lost an item at YVR. Where can I find the lost and found?

YVR's Lost and Found is in the U.S. Departures Terminal on Level 3 across from check-in counter number 280. It is open from 09:00 to 17:00 daily. Please complete the form on our Lost and Found page for any lost and found items from within the airport terminals and we will be in touch with you if we locate your item.

Do I need a COVID-19 test to fly?

Depending on your destination, you may still be required to present proof of a negative COVID test, proof of vaccination status, or other entry requirements. More information about requirements for the U.S. and international travel is available here or through your airline.

Do I need to take a COVID-19 test before travelling to Canada?

As of April 1, 2022, fully vaccinated travellers no longer need to provide a pre-entry COVID-19 test result to enter Canada.

Do I need to be vaccinated to travel?

As of June 20, the Government of Canada suspended the vaccine requirement for domestic and outbound travellers, as well as for federally regulated aviation sector workers. Most foreign nationals entering Canada are required to show proof of vaccination upon entry to Canada. More information here.

Where can I get a COVID-19 test at YVR?

For arrivals: Mandatory random testing for fully vaccinated passengers resumed on July 19, 2022. All testing will be conducted outside of the airport. Please visit Travel.gc.ca for more information on the process and testing locations.
