Here's a snapshot of what's to come over the next two years at YVR.
Pacific Farms Market: Inspired by British Columbia’s vibrant food scene, Pacific Farms Market will be located in both the Domestic and International Terminals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Travellers through the Domestic Terminal location can look forward to a full service bar, fresh-made grab-and-go items, artisan retail snacks and made to order dining featuring locally sourced and seasonal items. The International Terminal food market will be anchored with five made-to-order food stations including a grab-and-go section as well as a poke and sushi bar featuring local sustainable products. We also can't forget 49th Parallel, one of Vancouver’s favourite coffee purveyors, and a selection of fresh baked goods from Purebread Bakery.
Hawksworth Kitchen: Internationally renowned Canadian chef, David Hawksworth, will open his first airport location in the Domestic Terminal. Taking inspiration from his celebrated Hawksworth and Nightingale restaurants’ the menu will feature farm fresh dishes including organic salads, oven-fired pizzas, house pastas and cured meats.
The Dirty Apron: This award-winning, chef-driven hometown deli will serve its world-famous sandwiches as well as an array of delicious, nutritious and health-conscious meals and snacks, all featuring locally sourced, seasonal produce and meats.
Sal y Limon: Known in Vancouver for its great variety of tacos, burritos, quesadillas and other fare that capture the idea and flavors of Mexican street food, Sal y Limon focuses on providing fresh ingredients and full flavour. Menu items at YVR will include their best selections of tacos, burritos and quesadillas, as well as some of their popular homemade salsas.
Heritage Asian Eatery: Offering an original take on classic Asian comfort foods, Heritage Asian Eatery uses familiar ingredients in unexpected ways for a fun dining experience. Travellers can look forward to pork belly bowls, chicken bowls, Dan Dan udon, as well as eggplant and shiitake bowls.
Want to grab a beer and a quick bite? We have options for you. Steamworks Bar & Restaurant, Whistler Brewing Lodge and Red Truck Beer Stop will add to YVR’s artisanal craft beer scene, while also delivering a mix of traditional mountain cuisine and hearty, brewpub fare.But that's not all... other additions include Joe & the Juice, BUILT Custom Burgers, Wahlburgers and an in-terminal Japadog.
