Contractor Safety Orientation

All contractors must complete a YVR safety orientation before arriving on site.

It's mandatory. All contractors and sub-trades working for the YVRAA, employees, visitors, and other personnel accessing our holdings must complete the Contractor Safety Orientation before arriving on site.

We've designed two types of orientation to help our contractors. One for contractor managers and supervisors to understand the CSMP components and our expectations, and one for all other contractor personnel to understand our basic health and safety requirements. Please be sure to sign-up for one.

Orientations for all contractor personnel:

In order to complete the orientation, contractors must:

  1. Go to the new training site: https://yvrtraining.ca/
  2. Login with their email address and password
  3. Search for Contractor Safety Orientation or ID 782 (just the numbers)

Once you've completed the orientation, print your certificate and wallet card. The wallet card must be made available upon request to any YVRAA employee or representative.

Orientations for contractor managers, supervisors, and safety leads:

There are instructor-led orientations held on a regular basis for contractor managers, site supervisors or superintendents, and safety advisors to help better guide contractors through the CSMP process.
