COVID-19 Testing at YVR

There are a number of COVID-19 testing related programs in place on Sea Island. It’s important to note – if you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19, you cannot enter YVR.

Arrivals Testing at YVR

The on-arrival testing program at YVR is part of the Government of Canada’s requirements for international travellers arriving in Canada. The on-arrival testing is in addition to the pre-departure testing requirement, which requires travellers coming to Canada to demonstrate proof of negative COVID-19 results from a test taken within 72 hours prior to departure.

Please note that the process will be faster if you pre-register for your test here.

  • For: International travellers entering Canada.
  • Location and hours: Arrivals testing is located in the International Arrivals Hall. Arrivals testing takes place from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.
  • Cost: Arrivals testing is free.
  • More information: For more information and to register for your arrivals testing and COVID-19 Home Collection Kit, please visit: On Arrival – LifeLabs
