Less Airport Stress Initiative (LASI)

YVR's Ambassador Dog Program provides travellers and visitors with a new way to manage stress

YVR brings Ambassador Dogs from St. John Ambulance’s Therapy Dog Program into the terminal to provide all airport users with a support service to help manage anxiety associated with travelling, work and general stress.

There are currently seven different Ambassador Dogs around the terminal. Molly, Bailey, Mira, Norman, Grover, Kermode and Soda will be onsite Mondays through Fridays, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

YVR Ambassador Dogs are easily identifiable with their St. John Ambulance bandanas and YVR branded leashes. Their handlers will be beside them, together with a YVR Green Coat who will be able to answer any questions.

YVR Ambassador Dogs are specifically trained to be interacted with! The next time you are travelling through YVR and want a little boost of energy along the way, say hello to one of our YVR Ambassador Dogs!
