Templeton Area Redevelopment Update

Construction Activities: Two Week Period of December 13 to December 31, 2021

Landscaping and tree-planting continue to be the key activities over the next two weeks. Learn about what to expect during construction here. This week’s update, which covers the next two weeks follows below. The next scheduled update is January 4, 2022.

We are aware that some limited flooding in the Wellington Crescent laneway took place last week as BC Hydro crews were on site performing work unrelated to the Templeton project. As our construction contractor was on site, they assisted hydro crews with clean up. Any concerns about this event should be directed to BC Hydro.

OVERVIEW (new activity this period)

Landscaping, tree planting and final irrigation system installation to complete the meadow areas continue, to complete the project. All work takes place weather permitting. For notice of specific activities related to the Templeton Project over the next two weeks, please see detailed update below.

Please note that the park remains closed to the public until construction is complete and plantings take root. The area is open for YVR authorized wildlife personnel only. If you have questions about the project and would like to connect with our community liaison Pam by phone or in person, please email to [email protected] or call/text 604-561-2836.
