Air Canada launches new route from YVR to Washington Dulles International Airport

Exciting news for travellers from Vancouver! Air Canada has started service from Vancouver International Airport / Aéroport international de Vancouver (YVR) to Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD). Starting today, Air Canada will operate five roundtrips per week between YVR and IAD, making it easier than ever to travel between the Pacific Northwest and the U.S. East Coast.

The inaugural flight of this new route will depart from YVR at 8:15 am on June 1, 2023, and arrive at IAD at 4:16 pm local time. This new route will be operated by Air Canada's Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, which features a comfortable and spacious cabin with plenty of legroom for passengers as well. The aircraft also provides an in-flight entertainment system with a touchscreen display offering on-demand music movies, games, and wellness applications.

Washington Dulles International Airport is located just 41 kilometers west of downtown Washington, DC and is one of the busiest airports in the United States.

With this new route, travellers from Vancouver will have more options than ever before when it comes to travelling to Washington, DC and the surrounding area.
