Get ready for more sun, sand and fun! Flair is continuing to expand their international routes from YVR adding more affordable travel options for passengers. The ultra low-cost carrier is now offering service between YVR and Los Cabos Airport (SJD) every Tuesday and Saturday on a Boeing 737 aircraft.
“Starting in February, Canadians will enjoy affordable, sunny winter getaways to Cancun and Los Cabos without breaking the bank,” said Garth Lund, Chief Commercial Officer, Flair Airlines. “We can’t wait to get our customers to the beach.”
So, when you’re ready, head to Mexico and take advantage of its world-class beaches, restaurants, resorts and golf courses. Los Cabos also boasts a vibrant arts and culture scene with many gorgeous art galleries and museums to visit. Adrenaline junkies can fulfill their need for speed with outdoor adventures like ATV rides in the desert, watersports and ziplines.
The success of our partner leisure carriers is important to YVR as we exist to serve our community and the economy that supports it.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Flair Airlines’ new nonstop service to Los Cabos International Airport in Mexico from Vancouver and expect it will be a very popular route with passengers here in B.C.,” said Russell Atkinson, Director, Air Service Development, Vancouver Airport Authority / L'Administration de l’aéroport de Vancouver. “Flair’s growth at YVR reflects its exciting destinations and affordable fares, which we know are both equally important to travellers. We look forward to Flair’s continued success as it connects our community to even more destinations.”
Los Cabos Airport serves two towns: San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. It’s located at the tip of the Baja California Peninsula where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific.
Make sure you know all the travel requirement to enter Mexico and to return to Canada. YVR offers many testing options at the airport to help you. For more information, visit our COVID-19 Testing page.
