Flying from YVR to Taiwan may look a little different this summer, thanks to EVA Air’s new Dreamliner 787-10.
EVA Air celebrated its first delivery of the Dreamliner 787-10 back in 2019 and now, we are excited to announce the arrival of EVA Air’s Dreamliner 787-10 as the first Dreamliner of its kind to YVR. This will be the aircraft's first scheduled passenger flight at the airport.
EVA Air’s 787-10 will be flying every Tuesday from July 5 to July 26 between YVR and Taiwan, joining the other aircraft operated by EVA Air. This new Dreamliner has a total seat capacity of 342 passengers, giving it around 15 per cent more cabin space and cargo capacity compared to the 787-9. The aircraft is approximately 25 per cent more fuel efficient than previous planes in its class.
This new Dreamliner isn’t the only milestone that EVA Air has reached in 2022. Earlier this year, EVA Air launched its e-Library of digital books and magazines as part of their onboard experience for passengers. This service is another step towards EVA Air’s goal to save energy and reduce emissions by eliminating newspaper and magazine waste.
We are so pleased to continue working with our airline partner EVA Air who shares our commitment to safety and innovation, and we are even more excited to welcome EVA Air’s new Dreamliner 787-10 to our airport.
