Connecting between the Main Terminal and the South Terminal? We’re happy to share that our complimentary South Terminal shuttle has returned!
If you’ve taken the South Terminal shuttle before, you’re going to notice a few changes the next time you use it. To start with, we’re adding a new stop. The service will run every 30 minutes between the International Terminal, Domestic Terminal, the South Terminal and a new stop at the float plane dock. YVR’s float plane dock is one of two floatplane docks on Inglis Drive near the South Terminal.
There are two pick up locations at the Main Terminal. If you’re at the International Terminal, please exit for pick-up on Level 3, adjacent to the US transborder check-in area. The Domestic Terminal pick-up area is located adjacent to the Domestic check-in area, also on Level 3.
We’ll also be using our hybrid fleet of buses, which you may recognize if you’ve parked at our jetSet lot before. These vehicles have many features that not only make them more sustainable, but also more accessible for our passengers with features such as wider doors and a Lift-U ramp system for wheelchair users.
In our ongoing commitment to ensure the health and safety of all customers and employees, we are adding a number of measures. This includes 50% capacity to ensure adequate space for physical distancing, adding Plexiglass between the driver and our customers as an additional layer of prevention, making hand sanitizer available at the shuttle stops and asking that face coverings be worn at all times while on the bus.
This service is an important link between the South Terminal and the Main Terminal, and we’re pleased to welcome it back. More information, along with the daily scheduled start and end times, is available here.
