YVR Selected as One of Canada’s Best Diversity Employers and One of BC’s Top Employers

We’re thrilled to share that we’ve been named one of BC’s Top Employers for the 14th consecutive year in addition to one of Canada’s Best Diversity employers for the third year!

Organized annually by the editors of Canada’s Top 100 Employers, the Canada’s Best Diversity award recognizes organizations with exceptional workplace diversity and inclusiveness programs. As a community-based organization, we have had a longstanding commitment to create an inclusive and diverse workplace environment. Each year, we set specific hiring targets for four designated groups – women, Indigenous people, persons with disabilities and members of visible minorities.

Additionally, we have a dedicated Employment Equity and Diversity committee responsible for supporting the various diversity programs for the organization. And last year, our President and CEO, Craig Richmond, made a public pledge to gender equity with the Minerva BC Diversity pledge which aims to support the advancement of women into leadership positions.

We are also very proud to be selected as one of BC’s Top Employers again this year. The annual competition selects British Columbia employers that lead their industry in offering exceptional places to work based on a range of criteria including work culture, benefits, training and community involvement. At Vancouver Airport Authority / L'Administration de l’aéroport de Vancouver, we believe in providing competitive benefits to attract and retain top talent. From our wellness programs to skill development opportunities, we are seeking ways to provide the best resources for our employees! Congratulations to our entire team on this achievement, we look forward to another great year ahead!
