Mary B. Jordan YVR Scholarship for Women in Business
In recognition of former Chair of the YVR Board of Directors Mary B. Jordan’s impressive 15-year tenure as a board member, and her significant contributions to the airport community. YVR established the Mary B. Jordan YVR Scholarship to support women pursuing a Master's degree in a business-related field in British Columbia.
We share Mary’s belief that greater diversity in the workplace drives innovation and providing people with proper resources allows them to reach their full potential. Each year, YVR will award $20,000 to a female or female-identified student who demonstrates outstanding academic achievement, and a passion for diversity, inclusion and community participation.
Am I Eligible?
Eligible students must be:
- A Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
- Female or female-identified student who has maintained a minimum CGPA of 3.25 in the previous year of study and is in good academic standing.
- Enrolled in a business related Master’s degree program.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and teamwork skills, community participation and/or involvement on or off campus, including an interest or participation in sports.
