Board of Directors

Vancouver Airport Authority’s Board of Directors oversees the business conduct and activities of the management team. Our Board's goal is to ensure that the Airport Authority fulfills its objectives on an ongoing basis and operates in a safe, efficient and reliable manner. Our Board members also provide direction via committees that include Finance and Audit, Governance, Human Resources and Compensation, and Planning and Development.

Nominating entities appoint members to our Board, which also includes Vancouver Airport Authority’s President and CEO and four Directors appointed by the Board from the community at-large. To ensure transparency and accountability, the Directors and their nominating entities agree on a formal communications plan between the Airport Authority and the nominating entity. The Board also approves the Airport Authority’s communication policy, which guides overall communication with the public, annually.
