Non-Stop Flights
Duty free purchases of liquids of any size from shops in Canada are permitted if you have a nonstop flight to an international destination.
Connecting flights
Good News! Passengers with connecting flights in the European Union are allowed to travel with all purchased liquids. All liquids purchased from World Duty Free must be in sealed S.T.E.B bags and had been purchased within the last 36 hours to avoid confiscation.
If you have a connecting flight in the United States, Japan or another international destination, duty-free liquid purchases in containers larger than 88.71 ml (3.0 oz) will not be permitted through security checkpoints because they will not be in the an approved tamper-evident bag. If you have a connecting flight to the European Union you may purchase liquid, aerosols and gels over 100 ml (3.38 oz) when secured in a STEB (secure tamper evident bag).
Liquids, gels, and aerosols in carry-on bags are permitted as long as they are in containers with a capacity of 100 ml / 100 grams (3.4 oz) or less. These containers must be carried in a single clear, closed and re-sealable plastic bag up to 500 ml of product in carry-on bags. If you have a connecting flight in the United States, Europe, Japan or another international destination, duty-free liquid purchases in containers larger than 88.71 ml (3.0 oz) will not be permitted through security checkpoints because they will not be in the an approved tamper-evident bag.
