Construction

Big changes are coming to YVR! We are working on key projects that will enhance the airport experience. This includes our biggest sustainability projects to date, new parking options, terminal expansions and much more.

YVR is experiencing unprecedented growth and we are well-positioned to meet and exceed our goal of serving 25 million passengers by 2020. Longer-term forecasts estimate 35 million passengers will travel through YVR annually by 2037. This growth will require significant changes to our airport.

On January 18, 2017, YVR's President & CEO unveiled our future roadmapFlight Plan 2037. Watch the video below to learn more about YVR's future plans.

Terminal Expansions

Our international, domestic and transborder (U.S.) terminals are nearing capacity. To ensure we meet future growth, we have a number of expansions coming up, with construction starting on a new international pier in 2018.
