Monthly Night Closure of South Runway for Maintenance - January Update

As part of our ongoing commitment to safety, Vancouver Airport Authority will close its south runway one night a month for maintenance upgrades. Beginning November 7, 2012, the south runway will be closed the first Wednesday of every month from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. for routine and preventative maintenance activities. Please note, that closure in January will occur on Wednesday, January 9. During this time the north runway will be used for arrivals and departures as required.
