B.C. Communities Showcase

As the first welcome for many visitors to British Columbia, Vancouver International Airport has a unique opportunity to showcase our pristine province to travellers. To highlight the diversity and beauty that resides across British Columbia to those arriving for the 2010 Winter Games, we developed the BC Communities Showcase program.

The BC Communities Showcase program invited communities across the province to create a video, profiling their hometown. From Tofino to Prince George, 15 communities were given a $10,000 donation from the Airport Authority to create a three-minute video that is now broadcast throughout the airport.

Next time you are in the terminal, waiting to board a flight or having lunch in our food court, take a look at our video screens and see the best of BC. You may even catch your hometown.
