ACM and LCM are labelled and identified throughout Airport Authority holdings to avoid inadvertent disturbance. Contractors are responsible for labelling all identified ACM and LCM within the scope of a project and for following the Airport Authority labelling system.
Sprays, paints, or coloured labels can be used to identify small areas of known or suspect ACM and LCM. Spot labelling will be used as a means of advising workers of potential hazards where demolition or access to encapsulated areas are scheduled.
Areas of the project identified in the BRHEMP Conditional Report as restricted will be cordoned off using barrier tape.
