The popular Take-off Fridays event is back for its third summer at YVR. Beginning tomorrow, July 6th and running every Friday throughout the summer, YVR is transforming itself into giant summer party that will kick-off your weekend and provide a vacation-like atmosphere within the airport.
Epic feats of strength took place at YVR last weekend and all for a good cause as part of the ORBIS Canada Pull for Sight, a charity that raises awareness and funds for the ORBIS Kids Sight Program, which works to eliminate blindness in children in developing countries.
Last April we broke ground on YVR’s south side and began construction on Canada’s first Ground Run-Up Enclosure (GRE). Today we are proud to officially open the facility.
