Today, we’re launching a living photo gallery called Canada from the Air. The idea is to collect in-flight pics of Canadian vistas snapped from high above, and plaster them on our walls and online.
Head over to YVR’s outdoor viewing platform next to our South Terminal Building to watch the incredible Ground Run-up Enclosure (GRE) come to life. Built with lots of steel and concrete, the framework is going up quickly.
We admit it: runway slab replacement didn’t exactly register on our virtual thermometer of what’s “cool” here at YVR. But after learning more about a recent project to replace some of the concrete slabs forming our 15-year-old north runway, we knew we had to equip our airside maintenance team with the tools to get some stunning visuals of this epic race against the clock.
