The results are in and the YVR Art Foundation’s annual scholarship program that supports young, emerging Aboriginal artists in British Columbia announced its 2012 award recipients.
YVR has just been named Best Airport in North America for the third year in a row as part of the 2012 Skytrax World Airport Awards. YVR also ranked in the top ten airports worldwide.
For the second year in a row, we’re donning our pointy party hats (but not so pointy that security would confiscate them) and celebrating YVR’s ranking as the Best Airport in North America.
From ethnic staples like sushi and samosas to Canadian standards like coffee and donuts, YVR has no shortage of offerings to tame even the fiercest of appetites. In fact, our food is so popular amongst our travellers and employees that YVR was recognized earlier this month as the “Airport with the Best Overall Concessions Program” by the Airport Revenue News’ prestigious Best Airport & Concessionaire Awards.
