As the school year wraps up, so do school lunch programs. In Vancouver alone, over 4000 students rely on school lunch programs to receive access to a nutritious lunch. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Quest Food Exchange to launch Final Boarding Call for Pennies, a penny drive to raise funds to help children gain access to lunches during the summer months. (Learn more about our penny drive and how you can participate)
This week, we put the call out to our Sea Island partners to join our efforts and within the first two days, we received over 30 responses!
