YVR Community Putting Pennies to Good Use

As the school year wraps up, so do school lunch programs. In Vancouver alone, over 4000 students rely on school lunch programs to receive access to a nutritious lunch. That’s why we’ve teamed up with Quest Food Exchange to launch Final Boarding Call for Pennies, a penny drive to raise funds to help children gain access to lunches during the summer months. (Learn more about our penny drive and how you can participate)

This week, we put the call out to our Sea Island partners to join our efforts and within the first two days, we received over 30 responses!

Thank you to our following partners for participating and supporting Quest Food Exchange:

I think it's amazing so many of the businesses on Sea Island are supporting this initiative. Way to go, airport community!

We are proud and pleased to play a small role in support of YVR's penny drive for QUEST - a dedicated charity in the extended community. Our volunteers are eternally gratefully that they were excused from rolling them. Best wishes to QUEST for the fine work you do with other charities and in your own endeavors.
