The Airport Authority reports on 2010 results

On May 12, Vancouver Airport Authority presented its 2010 Annual Report and released results of a recent economic impact assessment.

Chair Mary Jordan along with President & CEO Larry and other senior executives outlined the successes for the previous year as well as future plans to a crowd of approximately 100 people.

Following the formal presentations, members of the audience were invited to ask questions of the speakers. Video footage of the presentations can be seen on our website.

    Hi.



    One of our Customer (Air Canada) reported the following discrepancy with their newer visual system on their B787 Full Flight Simulator. They have reported the following problem on our CAE CYVR visual database: 



    CYVR runway 08R has blue taxi lights extending past the green threshold lights as seen when on approach for 8R. These should not be there.



    We would like Vancouver Airport Authority’s confirmation that these lights should not be there in our visual database. If you can provide us with a copy of the airport lighting drawing, this would help us correct this problem for our customer.
