Just Lounging

You know that twinge of jealousy you feel when you see fellow travellers heading into their private airline lounges with their first-class tickets, while you wait in a small seat by the gate? Well, thanks to Plaza Premium Lounges, you’re now able to have others envy you.

YVR has three Plaza Premium Lounges in various locations throughout the airport: one in each of the Domestic  (between pier A & B) and International (Gate D53) terminals, as well as a newly opened location in the U.S. terminal (gate E87). These lounges are available for all travellers, regardless of airline or fare class.

Each lounge is well equipped with practically every amenity a traveller could dream of. Food and beverages are available throughout the day, with offerings including hot entrees, snacks and alcoholic beverages past 11 a.m.. In addition to providing a bite to eat, the lounges have comfortable, spacious seats; business services; newspapers; and international television stations.

If you’re lucky enough to be departing or connecting through the International terminal, the lounge includes showers (no one wants to sit next to that passenger) and napping facilities.

Plaza Premium operates 50 lounges around the world in 16 different airports. Access to a lounge is available for two ($30) or three ($35) hours; those who frequently travel through YVR and abroad may want to pick up an annual pass.
