Sometimes help comes when you least expect it. When a pilot had trouble starting his car after landing a plane, this month’s YVR Star knew just how to help!
YVR Stars is an airport-wide recognition program, allowing passengers and airport employees to nominate any Sea Island employee for going above and beyond at our airport.
WestJet employee Herschel Angoncillo arrived early to work one morning and kindly stopped to help a man with a dead car battery. The gentleman had been stranded for 20 minutes until someone had stopped to help and was very grateful. Herschel is a great example of the YVR community continuing to help beyond the airport walls.
