Did Someone Say Taiwanese Street Food?

YVR Welcomes New Air Canada Daily Service to Taipei

Today marks the first day of Air Canada’s new route between YVR and Taipei’s Taoyuan International Airport (TPE). This non-stop year-round service will arrive at YVR daily, meaning you can be enjoying delicious Taiwanese food in just a heartbeat!

This route uses the Air Canada’s 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, offering 30 International Business Class lie-flat pod suites, 21 Premium Economy and 247 Economy Class seats with upgraded in-flight entertainment.

One trip to Taipei will leave you wanting to make this an annual summer vacation spot!

  • Shilin Night Market - Be warned that your trip to this market will leave you craving for more Taiwanese food favourites. They’ve got bubble tea, fried chicken steak, skewers and the oh-so-famous stinky tofu.
  • Taipei 101 - This city landmark, standing at 449 metres high, features an outdoor open-air observation, taking your breath away with the astonishing nightscape.
  • Tianyuan Temple - Vancouver’s cherry blossoms are absolutely beautiful, but who can say no to more cherry blossoms? Tianyuan Temple welcomes you with floral aroma every mid-March, rushing travellers from around the world (soon to include yourself) to enjoy this stunning scenery.

Air Canada also introduced service to Dallas in February, Denver in May and increased service to Los Angeles and San Jose to six and three times daily respectively, both on May 1, 2017. In the month of June, they also launched new routes to Nagoya, Frankfurt, London Gatwick and Boston.
