YVR's Retail Services Win Big

World Duty Free browsingYVR’s retail and service program won big this week at the Airport Council International Awards celebrating excellence in North American airport concessionaires.

World Duty Free took home first place in the Best Specialty Retail Program. World Duty Free operates ten retail stores at YVR, including one of the largest walk-through duty free shops in North America. Offerings include high-end brands such as Bvlgari, Cartier, Omega, Loewe, Hugo Boss, Ferragamo, MCM and Givenchy, an extraordinary selection of cosmetics, as well as a tasting bar that stocks an impressive selection of ice wines and premium spirits. Burberry is the latest brand to land at YVR – a   luxury boutique stocking items featuring the world’s most famous plaid opened on November 14 in the International Terminal.

Launched in 2012, Airport Butler offers meet-and-greet services at YVR and was recognized as the Best New Consumer Service Concept. This unique concept is another great example of the Airport Authority’s customer care mandate in action, delivering high value customer service while ensuring we care for each and every customer. Airport Butler is a highly customizable service that helps make the experience of travelling through YVR as easy as possible, from curb to cabin. While clients include celebrities and VIPs, Airport Butler also provides services to assist seniors and anyone else who may need a little extra help as they travel through our airport.
