The second Annual Pancake Breakfast in aid of BC Professional Firefighters Burn Fund will be held on Wednesday, September 18, from 0600-0900 at the Templeton Station bus parking lot.
Hosted by YVR’s Airside Emergency Services team, the breakfast is by-donation. So come hungry and help fill a firefighter's boot! Every dollar raised will be doubled with Vancouver Airport Authority matching net profit to help send kids to Summer Burn Camp.
The entire community is invited to enjoy fresh pancakes with all the trimmings to get a hearty start to the day. The DJ will be playing breakfast beats, a YVR Crash-Fire-Rescue truck will be on-site as well as a chance to enter a draw to win an airside tour for one lucky family of four.
So, on September 18, leave home a little earlier, enjoy a hearty breakfast and make a difference. Bring family and friends, everyone is invited.
The BC Professional Firefighters Burn Camp provides burn victims aged 6-18 a week of fun-filled activities. Since 1994, almost 800 burn survivors have benefited from attending the camp, receiving support from professionals donating their time and expertise to help victims overcome emotional and psychological trauma.
