A Vancouver food cart phenomenon has opened its first airport location at YVR – just in time for spring and summer.
Japadog - known for its slogan to make the world “alive and happy through hot dogs" - opened May 1 at Chester Johnson Park is located outside International Arrivals, Level 2, and is open daily throughout the summer from 10:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The iconic food cart specializes in hot dogs with variants of Japanese-style foods served in a bun including okonomiyaki, seaweed, teriyaki and even Korean kimchi.
Haven’t experienced the Japadog phenomenon just yet? A visit to the outdoor food cart is the perfect beginning or end to a morning or afternoon family adventure at the airport. Hop on the Canada Line and wander through the Public Observation Area, take a self-guided tour or watch planes take off and land from one of several prime viewing locations.
