A Famous Red Suit and Friendly Green Jackets on Parade

Vancouver Airport Authority will add a splash of green to the 8th annual Rogers Santa Claus Parade as a sponsor to welcome the big guy in the red suit to town.

The iconic holiday parade, coming December 4 at 1 p.m., takes place in downtown Vancouver, winding its way east on West Georgia from Broughton Street then north on Burrard Street, ending at Cordova Street.

Everyone is invited to bring their family and friends to cheer on the YVR team, led by employees and Green Coat volunteers who will be holding banners high and handing out 80th anniversary giveaways to the 400,000 spectators.

Vancouver Airport Authority has been a part of the Rogers Santa Claus Parade since its inception, in support of the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.

Can’t make the parade? Mark your calendar to watch Citytv on Saturday, December 10 from 6 to 7 p.m. or Sunday, December 11 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. when the parade will be broadcast in its entirety.
