Three Year Lighting Project at YVR Completed

Over the past three years YVR has been involved in a project that saw the installation of new lighting, upgrades to low visibility systems as well as general runway maintenance.

Remembering 9/11

This year marks the ten year anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. YVR played a key role in hosting thousands of passengers who were forced to land at YVR after North American airspace closed.

The Future Lands Here

The Airport Authorities School Tour Program, The Future Lands Here, launches its 2011 season on September 27, with tours for local grade 5 students running until November 24.
