This month, Terrace, B.C.-based airline Hawkair is making a big move - from YVR’s South Terminal to the Main Domestic Terminal.
The move follows a change in designation by the Canadian Transportation Agency. With its new medium category license, Hawkair will operate two 50-seat DeHavilland Dash 8-300 aircraft and two 37-seat Dash 8-100s to its network of B.C. destinations including Terrace/Kitimat, Prince Rupert and Smithers.
In addition to its scheduled service, the airline offers charter service throughout British Columbia and Alberta, supporting the mining and resource-based industries that gave the airline its start in 1994. Travellers looking to explore northern B.C.’s legendary outdoor pursuits can connect to sport fishing and heli-skiing lodges through Hawkair charters.
Passengers travelling with Hawkair out of YVR’s Main Domestic Terminal will continue to enjoy the airline’s excellent customer service, competitive pricing packages, customer incentive programs and online booking capability.
